Festivities begin in Shepard Park at 4:00PM with pony rides, a petting zoo, and bounce houses. At 4:30PM, entertainment starts at the Shepard Park Amphitheater with famous ventriloquist/magician Steve Charney, followed at 5:15PM by The Zucchini Brothers.
At 6:15PM, a switch will be flipped turning on more than 30,000 holiday lights, followed by a fabulous fireworks display over the lake. The holiday season is officially here!
Following the fireworks, a fantastic holiday light parade will begin featuring illuminated vehicles from more than 11 area fire departments. Santa will arrive during the parade, and he’ll head to the Lake George Firehouse to meet with children afterward.
The evening concludes with holiday tunes performed by the Lake George Community Band at the Firehouse.
Lite Up The Village is one of the most anticipated holiday events in Lake George. It’s a wonderful event for families, and best of all, it’s completely free!
IMPORTANT concerning last Sunday Second Sunday the response was very weak for the calendar sign up. December 10th will be a mandatory you must have someone in attendance to get on the 2018 Upstate biker calendar that we’ve been producing for the last 3 years. I must make it very clear that if someone does not come and represent at this next meeting you will not be in the calendar which will be a shame because we had such a great response and white Outreach doing this. Second Sundays will be every month until June and we are wishing that all people interested in motorcycle events Topic or other issues related to motorcycles to be present. We would also like to thank everyone who was in the attendance and are stepping up to help with our Tri-County Marines toys for girls and boys.
On Thanksgiving we open the doors to anyone who might not have a place to eat a Thanksgiving meal or to those who have a place to go and don’t wish to stay there. It’s an open-door policy. All we ask is if you have the ability to bring a dessert please do we put on a full meal we have some guys jamming on guitars and our usual just Brotherhood or family.
